About the Shelton Schools Foundation
The Shelton Schools Foundation was formed in 2005, by a group of interested Mason County Citizens. The Foundation was organized as a nonprofit corporation with tax-exempt status under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
The Shelton School Foundation was established to raise funds to provide financial support to educational programs and activities that will enhance or enrich the learning experience for school children from kindergarten through 12th grade.
The foundation also focuses on supporting the movement to higher education by providing student scholarships to graduates of Shelton High School to attend 4 year, 2 year and vocational educational institutions.
The Foundation raises funds through contributions, grants, and earned income activities that are lawful within the framework for nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organizations.
